Privacy policy

Veyra is a personal finance app for individuals and households. We collect only what we need to run it and to respond to you:

• Account details such as your name, email address and plan when you create an account. Passwords are stored only as secure, one-way hashes.
• Financial information you enter such as your income and expenses, categories, budgets, planned future income and expenses, assets and liabilities, loans and the holdings in your investment portfolios.
• Accounts you choose to connect through read-only connections, such as balances, transactions and holdings from your bank, card, brokerage or crypto accounts.
• Form submissions such as contact messages and setup call requests, including the details you choose to share.
• Usage information such as pages visited and the device and browser used, collected without cookies and without identifying you personally.

We use your information to provide and improve Veyra: to calculate your budgets, net worth, cash outlook, portfolio values and insights, to respond to your messages and setup call requests, to keep your account secure and to send you messages you have asked for, such as reminders and replies to your questions.

Your financial information is used only to provide the service to you and to the people you choose to share it with. It is never sold, never used for advertising and never used to train models that serve anyone else.

Some emails we send may include a small tracking image and tracked links that tell us whether a message was opened or a link was clicked. We use this only to understand whether our messages are useful. Open tracking is approximate, and you can block it by turning off automatic image loading in your email app.

Our website analytics do not use cookies. When you log in, we set a single essential cookie that keeps you signed in securely. It cannot be read by scripts and is removed when you sign out or after 30 days.

If you invite a partner or family member, they see only the accounts, budgets and portfolios you decide to share with them, and you can change or remove their access at any time.

We also work with a small number of trusted providers for hosting, email delivery and secure account connections. They process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, connections to your bank, card and brokerage accounts are read-only and can never move money, and access to your information is limited to you and the people you invite.

We keep your account and financial information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your financial information within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer. Contact messages and setup call requests are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
